Group B Ages 8-9
Beginner to Intermediate Ballet, Modern, Improvisation, Composition Special focus on alignment, musicality, and the development of skills in learning combinations and choreography. Students learn additional ballet and modern dance vocabulary, and are introduced to additional improvisation and composition tools. Curriculum incorporates introductory history lessons in dance technique, along with guest classes in musical theater, tap, hip hop, and more. Students have the opportunity to perform in site specific venues throughout the year. Register for group B |
Group C Ages 9-10
Intermediate Ballet, Modern, Improvisation, Composition Continued focus on alignment, musicality, and the development of skills in learning combinations & choreography. Skills are acquired through a focus on gravity, musicality, spatial awareness, and anatomy while building coordination, discovering the fullness of dance. Students sharpen ballet and modern dance vocabulary, improvisation skill & composition tools. Curriculum incorporates history lessons in dance technique & guest classes in musical theater, tap, hip hop, & more. Students have the opportunity to perform in site specific venues throughout the year. .Register for Group C |
Group D Ages 10-14
Intermediate to Advanced Ballet, Modern, Improvisation, Composition Continued focus on alignment, musicality, and the development of skills in learning combinations and choreography. Skills are acquired through a focus on the use of gravity, musicality, spatial awareness, & anatomy. Students learn variations between modern and ballet dance techniques and approaches. Students learn to dance and create fully and with intention. Curriculum incorporates history lessons in dance technique, along with guest classes in musical theater, tap, hip hop, & more. Students have the opportunity to perform in site specific venues throughout the year. Register for Group D |

September 14 - December 21 (14 week session) January 11 - April 12 (14 week session) April 19 - June 21 (10 week session) Students are required to register for all three sessions. Payment is due at the start of each session. There is a $10 processing fee at the start of each session.
